Cat grades are determined by judging the prey drive of the greyhound when exposed to small fluffy things. We grade them like a report card from A (meaning they have no interest at all) to F (meaning they are drooling). In general, a D or F dog is just shown as NO CATS. Please keep in mind that a kennel dog has not actually lived with a cat.

Alex is an absolute joy. He is extremely intelligent, playful, and very loving! He follows his people around the house, gives kisses, and absolutely loves to play with his squeaky toys. Alex also enjoys going out for walks; he does pull, so highly recommend a harness for him. Alex also loves greeting people enthusiastically; he does jump when he meets a new person and fosters have been working on “down” with him. Alex is currently learning commands of “wait“, “leave it“, and “no“. Since Alex loves walking so much I think he would be a great hiking companion for someone. He definitely has the energy level for that. All around Alex has a wonderful personality and is a wonderful dog. He may be good with medium or larger other dog. He has not lived with small dogs or cats, but might be workable with experienced owners.
